Coachella is one of the biggest festivals in America and last weekend anyone who was anyone got themselves off to California to soak up the sun and atmosphere. We trawled through the many photo’s from the events to see what fashion trends the celeb’s were rocking in the hope that it would give us inspiration for our own festival attire!
The first trend we saw was PRINTS: Tie-dye, animal, tribal, geometric-it doesn’t matter as long as it’s bright! Kate Bosworth got this look spot on at this years festival. Our favourite designer for this look is Proenza Schouler who re-ignited our love for tie-dye, don’t worry if you can’t afford designer prices though, there are lots of great versions on the highstreet!
The next look we loved was FRINGING: Katy Perry wore great fringed dresses and really worked that Americana look. If you’re not feeling brave enough for a full on fringed dress just add touches of the trend with fringed moccasins or a fringed bag!
One more trend we spotted was the CROP TOP: Yup, they’re back! Beyonce and her sister Solange wore there’s with style. These are, ahem, “cropping” up all over the highstreet now, with our favourites styles in Monsoon and New Look.
