Kate Moss is once again the star of another exhibition; from sculpture to photography she’s taken centre stage at more gallery’s than we can count. Last night at the Phillips de Pury Gallery in London, Moss wowed as the guest of honour in a little black Stella McCartney number, teamed with some classic Louboutin heels. What else should one wear when honoured as someone’s muse than a classic LBD?

You’ll have been hard pushed not to notice all the images of Elle MacPherson staring back at you from Billboards and Magazine’s recently; the new series of Britain’s Next Top Model is finally here, and Elle Macpherson is taking charge as the new host in the search of the next big thing. It was a weekend to remember as Glastonbury Festival celebrated its 40^th Birthday with clear, sunny skies and plenty of celebs. This year seemed to mark a slight shift in the usual festival attire, goodbye tea dresses and hello denim shorts. Spotted on everyone from Sienna to Alexa these little numbers were hotter than the John Peel tent. What to wear on top differed slightly, from preppy white shirts like Emma Watson, to rock and roll layering courtesy of Kate Moss – leopard print accessories seemed to be a universal favourite, adding a kitsch edge to such classic pieces.

On stage outfits were big, bold and bright in the most dazzling of whites. Florence displayed cascading ruffles down the side of her bodice whilst Paloma and her gem encrusted leotard were both fifties and Botticelli-esque in a captivating caricature way.

As previously mentioned cat’s eye’s glasses are big news and were spotted on Kelly Osbourne amongst others. With record temperatures and a series of stellar performances it’ll be interesting to see how 2011 matches up…

Sources revealed today that Clemence Poesy , fashion darling and actress, will be appearing in Season 4 of stylish US drama Gossip Girl. As famous for her impeccable sense of style as her time on screen, Poesy has appeared in both Harry Potter and Vogue in her time. Topshop have always been at the forefront of cutting edge fashion, collaborating with raw talent of the design world including the brilliant Christopher Kane and of course Kate Moss. The latest in line to design for the successful brand is up-and-coming designer Mark Fast. Causing controversy and speculation in the industry, Mark Fast is best known for breaking convention by casting plus-size models for his shows last year. Strutting their stuff in his contemporary shredded knitwear dresses, he skewed everyone’s view of beauty. Fast has designed five pieces for Topshop, four of his famous dresses and one innovative skirt. Prices will be considerably lower than his usual high-end pieces and will allow us, (mere mortals), to get our hands on some avant-garde beauties of our own.

The Indie style Icon and the up-and-coming fashion label, do pairings get much better than that? Chloë Sevigny, actress and fashionista has been collaborating with Opening Ceremony to create capsule collections full of Sevigny’s unique style. Her latest winter collection, (the third she’s done for the brand), has recently been previewed and has got the industry all flustered with excitement.

Five prints dominated the scene- polka dot, paisley, houndstooth, leopard and floral, put together in a cute mix and match format. Layered dresses, boxy jackets, tights and beret’s were all laced with pattern looking brilliant on Chloë’s friends and family who were modelling.

The footwear played an important role, as a footwear company initially, Opening Ceremony put a lot of emphasis of this key accessory. Chloë’s latest shoe line is the largest she’s done for the company and was stacked full of wooden heels, clogs and open-toe styles, all vital trends right now. Overall it comes across as a fun streetwear influenced collection designed to be affordable and original. With Chloë’s quirky style and Opening Ceremony’s expertise it seems this is a match made in heaven!

Movie marvel and classic beauty Natalie Portman has been named as the next face of Christian Dior Perfumes. Joining previous Dior ambassadors, Charlize Theron and Sharon Stone, Natalie will be the embodiment of poise and grace linked to the legendary fashion house.

Hermes, the luxury accessory label famous for its legendary Birkin bag, has recently declared that they are taking on a new creative director… Christophe Lemaire will replace Jean Paul Gaultier who has held his position for seven years at Hermes.

After working with Lacoste for eight years, it is thought by insiders that Lemaire will bring a commercial angle to Hermes who have previously been reported as too ‘avant-guard’. With a history at sport label Lacoste it is thought Lemaire’s first collection, due March 2011, will be a have sporty elements incorporated, hopefully resulting in mass appeal.

As Hermes still owns half of Jean Paul Gaultier’s own label it has been rumoured that Hermes will sell their stock in the company and officially part ways ….watch this space.

Renowned for her love of yoga and running, Jennifer Aniston has revealed the results of her hard work in new ad campaign for ‘Smart Water’. Wearing skimpy workout gear and shot in beautiful black and white, Jennifer Aniston looks phenomenal while revealing toned abs. Under the adverts sexy image is the tag line…

“Working out feels great…afterwards. That’s why I drink smart. Its hydration I can feel. (And its one part of my routine I never sweat.)”

Jennifer looks amazing in this ad and hopes to quash rumours that she’s following a ‘babyfood ‘diet, proving that the only way to a body like hers is through sheer hard work….

First up is US Vogue with Blake Lively gracing the cover, wearing Nicole Miller shorts and a Chanel watch. Orchestrating the photo shoot was fashion photography legend, Mario Testino, who epitomised the surfer girl look with a cover full of summer promise and California dreaming. In contrast to this is W’s cover, with the enchanting Cate Blanchett looking as sophisticated and ethereal as usual. Wearing an Yves Saint Laurent Edition Soir bodice, Chopard earrings and Lacrasia gloves the look screams high class glamour.
